Logging into the Portal

These issues are normally caused by either an improper user account configuration or an institutional firewall that blocks access to the portal.

User Account: UserIds follow a lastname.firstname convention.

Forgotten Password: To rest your password click the forgot your password link on the log in page.

Institutional Firewall: In the rare case that your institution has blocked the portal.vasont.com site, please contact the Merck Manuals staff for assistance.

The editing tool does not open.

This issue is normally caused by a Popup Blocker within your browser

How to Allow a Pop-up:

  3. Firefox
  4. Chrome
  5. Safari

Error Message

This is likely because an attribute is missing within the XML. Please contact the Merck Manuals staff and let us know the error you received and we will help you resolve it. We do not want it to be a burden on you to try to figure out what went wrong.
